Pre-Litigation Plaintiff Personal Injury Attorney
Location: Houston, TX – Onsite
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM
Compensation: $110,000 DOE, plus bonus opportunity

A growing Houston plaintiff personal injury law firm is seeking an experienced Pre-Litigation Personal Injury Attorney to independently manage a high-volume caseload from intake through settlement.
This position is ideal for an attorney with direct plaintiff-side personal injury experience who excels in case evaluation, client advocacy, insurance negotiations, and settlement strategy. The attorney will work closely with case managers, paralegals, medical providers, and other members of the legal team to develop cases, maximize value, and achieve strong outcomes for clients.
Responsibilities
- Independently manage a high-volume plaintiff personal injury caseload from intake through settlement
- Evaluate liability, damages, insurance coverage, and overall case value
- Develop case strategy and identify opportunities to maximize client recovery
- Review medical records, accident reports, insurance policies, wage-loss documentation, and other case materials
- Prepare and review settlement demands and supporting documentation
- Negotiate directly with insurance adjusters and defense representatives
- Advise clients regarding case strategy, settlement offers, and next steps
- Identify liability disputes, coverage issues, and damages concerns
- Maintain regular communication with clients throughout the life of each matter
- Work closely with case managers, paralegals, medical providers, and experts to ensure cases progress efficiently
- Maintain accurate case documentation and deadlines within the firm's case-management system
- Identify matters that require litigation and coordinate smooth transfer to the litigation team
Qualifications
- Juris Doctor from an accredited law school
- Active Texas Bar license in good standing
- 2 years of direct plaintiff personal injury experience
- Significant pre-litigation case-management and settlement experience
- Demonstrated ability to negotiate directly with insurance companies
- Strong understanding of liability, damages, insurance coverage, and personal injury case valuation
- Ability to independently manage a high-volume caseload
- Excellent client communication, negotiation, writing, and organizational skills
- Results-oriented approach with strong judgment and attention to detail
