Qualifications
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school;
- Active license to practice law in the relevant jurisdiction;
- Prior experience working for a plaintiff personal injury law firm for a minimum of 2 years is required;
- Prior experience negotiating personal injury claims required;
- Decision-making, public speaking, problem-solving, interpersonal skills, and communication skills are a must;
- Must be able to understand medical records and medical treatment;
- Must understand the nuances in commercial cases;
- Must be able to do legal research for complex issues;
- Must be able to handle a docket with minimal supervision;
- Must be able to effectively manage a team of legal assistants.
- Communication, problem-solving, decision-making, interpersonal, and public speaking skills required
- Strong knowledge of legal research programs such as Westlaw and Lexis products is required
- Ability to use Microsoft Office is required
- Required Juris Doctorate (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school; representation of clients for at least 2 years a plus
- Over 1 year of experience representing clients in a law firm
- Provide legal counsel and analyze client needs to identify solutions and determine case strategies;
- Manage case managers and legal assistants in connection with keeping track of case progression;
- Draft correspondence and review demands;
