Client Services Analyst – Data Management Team
Leading Alternative Investment Platform | Chicago, IL (Hybrid)
- Compensation | Base Salary: $70,000–$80,000 10% bonus

As the organization grows, the Investor Operations team is expanding its Data Management function to ensure the integrity, governance, and quality of critical investor information that supports business operations and client servicing.
The Opportunity
The Client Services Analyst will join a growing Data Management team responsible for maintaining the accuracy and integrity of investor information while supporting onboarding, operational processes, reporting, and continuous process improvement initiatives. This is an excellent opportunity for someone early in their financial services career who enjoys working with data, solving operational challenges, and collaborating across multiple business functions. The role offers exposure to investor operations, data governance, reconciliations, and technology-driven process improvements within a sophisticated investment environment.
Key Responsibilities
Data Management & Governance
- Maintain and update investor and account information across internal systems
- Review, validate, and analyze investor documentation and banking information for accuracy and completeness
- Ensure data integrity by following established governance standards and quality control procedures
- Perform ongoing maintenance of investor records and support data quality initiatives
Investor Onboarding & Operational Support
- Support investor onboarding activities, including documentation review and account setup
- Assist with account maintenance requests and operational changes throughout the investor lifecycle
- Coordinate with internal teams to ensure timely processing of onboarding and account-related requests
- Help resolve operational inquiries related to investor records and account information
Reconciliations & Reporting
- Support reconciliation activities related to investor cash movements and operational transactions
- Assist with preparation and validation of operational reports and supporting schedules
- Monitor reporting accuracy and investigate discrepancies when necessary
- Ensure timely completion of recurring operational deliverables
Process Improvement & Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Identify opportunities to improve workflows, reporting accuracy, and operational efficiency
- Participate in automation and technology enhancement initiatives
- Partner with Operations, Accounting, Compliance, Technology, and other internal teams on ongoing projects
- Support department initiatives and special projects as business needs evolve
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Bachelor's degree required
- 1–3 years of experience within financial services, investment operations, wealth management, fund administration, banking operations, or related environments
- Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent organizational and time management abilities
- Ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a deadline-driven environment
- Strong Excel skills required
- Experience working with CRM or data management systems preferred
- Microsoft Dynamics experience is a plus but not required
