The Buying Professional manages purchase requests, purchase orders, and supplier coordination to ensure timely, cost-effective material availability. The role supports quality, procurement, and supply chain teams while maintaining compliance with internal procurement rules and documentation standards.
Responsibilities:
- Process purchase requests and create/manage POs in SAP, including Commodity Code and INCOTERMS
- Track material availability to ensure on-time, cost-effective supply
- Manage vendor/supplier relationships and coordinate with SQE and Quality teams
- Ensure compliance with procurement policies and approved contract partners
- Maintain and update supplier data and archive procurement documents
- Share procurement updates with stakeholders and support cost-savings initiatives
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree required
- ~4 years of buying/procurement experience
- Strong knowledge of SAP, PO process, and supplier management
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook) and shared drives
- Strong communication skills and flexibility for early global meetings
- Ability to work onsite, full-time (7:00 AM – 4:00 PM)
