Production Operator

Responsible for safe material handling and execution of kitting and packaging operations within a production environment. This role requires interpreting Bill of Materials (BOM), prints, and work instructions to assemble assay kits accurately. The associate ensures product quality through in-process checks, adheres to build schedules, and maintains compliance with safety procedures and production standards. Requires strong attention to detail, reliability, and ability to operate in a fast-paced manufacturing setting.

Responsibilities:

• Perform kitting and packaging using BOM, kit drawings, and work instructions
• Handle materials safely across production processes
• Conduct in-process quality checks to ensure accuracy and compliance
• Follow production schedules to meet deadlines and output targets
• Maintain accurate production records and documentation
• Operate computerized test equipment and production tools
• Ensure adherence to safety protocols and maintain a clean workspace
• Identify components and verify materials before assembly
• Support team operations while working independently when required

Qualifications:

• Experience in manufacturing, kitting, or assembly operations
• Knowledge of BOM interpretation and production documentation
• Basic proficiency in computer systems and data entry
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions in English
• Strong attention to detail and quality focus
• Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform repetitive tasks
• Familiarity with production equipment and testing tools
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment
• Dependable with strong work ethic and time management skills
