Position Summary
The Senior Vice President of Marketing will play a pivotal role in shaping and executing the organization’s long-term marketing vision and growth strategy. Reporting to the Chief Executive Officer, this leader will be responsible for designing and implementing a cohesive marketing roadmap that strengthens brand presence, deepens customer engagement, and accelerates revenue performance.
This role oversees the full marketing ecosystem and ensures the company is positioned as a category leader. The SVP will champion a data-informed, innovative approach to marketing while cultivating a high-performing, collaborative team within a dynamic, publicly traded business environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute an integrated marketing strategy aligned with corporate priorities and growth targets.
- Guide brand strategy, messaging frameworks, and communication plans to enhance brand equity and market perception.
- Lead customer acquisition, retention, and engagement initiatives across digital channels, social platforms, traditional media, and direct outreach.
- Use analytics, market research, and customer insights to inform decisions, optimize campaigns, and evaluate performance.
- Recruit, develop, and inspire a best-in-class marketing organization built on creativity, accountability, and cross-functional collaboration.
- Partner with sales, product, and technology teams to ensure cohesive go-to-market execution and a seamless customer experience.
- Oversee digital marketing efforts—including paid media, SEO/SEM, lifecycle marketing, and CRM strategies—to boost traffic, engagement, and conversion.
- Direct public relations, corporate communications, and content initiatives to strengthen internal and external storytelling.
- Manage the marketing budget, ensuring resources are allocated strategically and efficiently.
- Communicate marketing strategies, performance insights, and future plans to executive leadership, board members, and other stakeholders.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field; advanced degree (MBA or similar) preferred.
- 10–15 years of increasingly senior marketing experience, including at least five years in executive leadership (VP or above) within a public company or high-growth organization.
- Demonstrated success building and scaling high-performing marketing teams.
- Expertise in digital marketing, brand strategy, customer lifecycle management, and data-driven decision-making.
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence across all organizational levels.
- Strong analytical mindset with a track record of using metrics and KPIs to shape strategy.
- Ability to translate business goals into creative, measurable marketing programs.
