Carolina Urology Partners is a large comprehensive urology group in the Carolinas. We have over 30 providers and more than 150 employees and 11 urology centers in convenient locations throughout the Carolinas. At Carolina Urology Partners, our expert urologists treat a vast range of urologic problems, from common to complex, with compassion and the most advanced technology.
We are currently seeking a Switchboard Operator for our office in Rock Hill, SC. This position will be responsible for assisting in the examination and treatment of patients under Physician direction.
Job Responsibilities:
- Answer incoming calls - high volume
- Scheduling and rescheduling of patient appointments
- Check-in and Check-out, to include verification of demographic and insurance information
- Collection of co-pays and deductibles, if necessary
- Insurance Authorizations
- Radiology / Surgery scheduling
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- 3-5 years previous medical office experience is preferred
- Ability to deal tactfully and effectively with patients, family members, staff members and Physicians
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects
