Summary:
Responsible to implement/ manage the Bank's overall compliance program, CRA program, and ensure the bank is in compliance with applicable federal and state regulations.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- ManagesI oversees the Bank's Compliance Monitoring Program and annualmonitoring schedule that is reported Risk & Compliance Committee of the Board of Directors.
- Monitor changes of OCC and CFPB consumer protection laws, regulations, and related acts; as well as applicable laws that may be imposed on the Bank.
- Provide guidance on consumer compliance issues (emerging and existing) and assist in the development of compliance policies/ procedures throughout the Bank's departments/ business units.
- Prepare and relay compliance status reports to the Risk & Compliance Committee of the Board of Directors regarding: the Bank's overall level of compliance, the adequacy of compliance operating policies/ procedures, status of compliance related training activities, results of compliance monitoring/ reviews / audits performed (including management's responses / corrective actions for any exceptions noted).
- Performs I manages the Bank's annual pre-inherent risk assessments and reviews the post residual risk assessments performed by the monitoring team for assigned reviews.
- Update / track the progress of the Bank's Compliance Corrective Action Matrix with items that management are working to complete.
- Oversee and manage the overall consumer compliance training program to all staff, including onboarding of new hires and assigned E-learning to all affected staff. Also, will deliver annual Board of Director training.
- Review, assess, and track the resolution of consumer complaints and relatedcompliance risks.
- Perform responsibilities as CRA Officer by managing the Bank's CRA program on a daily basis.
- Review all of the Bank'sadvertisement and/or promotional material for consumercompliance purposes.
- Discuss with management regulatory issues relating to new and existing products / services / for compliance risk applicability / exposure within the affected areas and provides related regulatory guidance.
Supervise the Compliance Department staff and coordinate their professional development, as applicable

Is responsible for the overall direction, coordination, and evaluation of the Regulatory and Compliance Group. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws.
BSA COMPLIANCE
I understand and acknowledge that, in addition to the duties outlined in this job description, I am also responsible for ensuring that my duties are performed in full compliance with all of the bank's Bank Secrecy Act, Anti-Money Laundering, and OFAC policies and procedures as well as related Federal Laws and Regulations. Desired Years of Experience Skills & Knowledge
- Bachelor of Science or Bachelor of Art degree in Accounting, Financial Managementor Business Administration MBA preferred.
- Proficiency in application of internal auditingtheory, standards, procedures and techniques.
- Proficiency in and understanding ConsumerRegulatory requirements.
- Sevento ten years of progressively more responsible experience in a bankingor financial management environment.
- Ability to oversee and schedule, superviseand lead audits/reviews of retail deposit,loan origination and servicing operations of mediumto large and complex financialinstitutions
- Excellent analytical skills, including ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions.
- Excellent organizational, communication and management skills.
- Good understanding of human relations and the ability to maintain satisfactory relationships with auditors.
- Compliance or Audit certification preferred.
- Previous management experience.
