Key Areas of focus:
- Develop and implement purchasing strategies, ensuring compliance with applicable regulations, and tracking supplier performance
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and analytical skills, as well as a strong understanding of supply chain management
- This role will be key in sourcing raw ingredients and components for our operations, both local and overseas sourced supply, cost negotiation/price reductions, supply chain efficiencies and risk mitigation, and relationship building with vendors
- Prepare initial issuance of Request for Quotations (RFQs) for a wide range of commodities
- Process modifications to terms and conditions of purchase agreements
- Perform commercial analysis on suppliers to develop more efficient processes and cost-effective solutions
The ideal candidate is a highly organized, detail-oriented team player who will oversee the entire order process. You will review proposals, negotiate prices, select the best suppliers, analyze trends, follow up with placed orders, verify delivery, approve payment, and maintain necessary records.
Basic qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree, preferably in a related area
- 5-7 years progressive experience in supplier performance and contract management
- Demonstrated experience in the implementation of risk mitigation, diversification strategies
- 1-2 years global sourcing experience highly preferred
Salary : $85,000 - $110,000
