Are you mechanically inclined and enjoy troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining equipment? We are seeking a dependable Repair Technician to join our growing operations team. This role offers a consistent weekday schedule, competitive pay, and opportunities to travel while supporting equipment maintenance across multiple locations.
Position Overview
The Repair Technician is responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining commercial floor cleaning equipment and related machinery. This position is based out of our warehouse in White Bear Lake, MN, with occasional travel to customer locations to complete onsite repairs and equipment service.
Schedule & Pay
- Pay: $27.00 per hour
- Schedule: Monday-Friday, 7:30 AM - 4:00 PM
- Full-time position
- Overtime opportunities may be available based on business needs
What You'll Do
- Perform daily equipment repairs and maintenance
- Troubleshoot and repair commercial floor care equipment
- Travel to service locations to diagnose and repair equipment onsite
- Transport equipment back to the warehouse when additional repair work is required
- Assist with equipment refurbishment projects
- Complete repair documentation and maintenance logs
- Perform routine vehicle maintenance as needed
- Maintain a safe, clean, and organized workspace
- Follow OSHA and workplace safety requirements
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Small engine, mechanical, maintenance, repair, automotive, or equipment service experience preferred
- Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
- Ability to occasionally work nights, early mornings, or weekends as needed
- Willingness to travel throughout the Midwest and occasionally to other states with advance notice provided
- Valid driver's license with a satisfactory driving record
- Ability to drive a truck and trailer
- Ability to pass an MVR (Motor Vehicle Record) review
