Family Support & Child Care Resource Specialist
We are seeking a compassionate, organized, and detail-oriented professional to help families access child care services, financial assistance programs, and community resources. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys helping others, navigating resources, and making a meaningful impact in the community.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist families in identifying child care needs and exploring available child care options.
- Provide information on child care programs, financial assistance, public schools, and community resources.
- Support families of children with special needs by connecting them with appropriate services and referrals.
- Respond to inquiries, conduct intake activities, and coordinate child care referrals.
- Process financial assistance documentation, including vouchers, eligibility updates, and renewals.
- Maintain accurate client, provider, and program records in databases and filing systems.
- Assist with provider agreements, rate updates, and routine provider inquiries.
- Support waitlist management, family outreach, and program communications.
- Ensure compliance with state regulations, program policies, and mandated reporting requirements.
- Provide administrative support and assist with special projects as needed.
Qualifications
- Strong organizational skills and exceptional attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and customer service abilities.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and database systems.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining accuracy.
- Experience handling confidential and sensitive information.
- Compassionate, patient, and comfortable working with diverse populations.
- Bilingual in Haitian Creole or Spanish preferred.
- Previous experience in human services, child care, social services, customer support, or administrative roles is a plus.
