Plant Manager Position Summary
We are seeking a results-driven Plant Manager to oversee our manufacturing operations. You will lead production, optimize assembly line processes, and maintain high standards for various products that require finished surfaces. The ideal candidate pairs deep technical knowledge of manufacturing know-how with strong troubleshooting skills and leadership.
Key Responsibilities
Production & Process Optimization
- Manage daily operations to meet safety, quality, and delivery goals.
- Optimize assembly line processes to increase throughput and reduce waste.
- Implement lean manufacturing principles across all production areas.
Technical & Quality Control
- Oversee products finishing including sanding, staining, painting, and sealing.
- Troubleshoot equipment malfunctions and process bottlenecks to minimize downtime.
- Maintain strict quality standards for final product appearance and durability.
Team Leadership & Safety
- Lead and mentor supervisors, line workers, and maintenance technicians.
- Enforce safety protocols to maintain a zero-injury workplace culture.
- Evaluate staff performance and coordinate continuous training programs.
Key Qualifications
Experience & Education
- 5 years of experience as a Plant Manager or Production Manager.
- Proven background manufacturing and or large volume production scenarios.
- Expertise in assembly line setups and production flows.
- Knowledgeable of inventory management & scheduling of department workload
Skills & Competencies
- Advanced troubleshooting ability for automated and manual processing machinery.
- Deep knowledge of finishing chemistry, equipment, and curing processes.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate diverse teams.
