Plant Manager

Movement Search & Delivery is conducting a confidential search for a Plant Manager with a company that is a global supplier of advanced technology components to the automotive, commercial vehicle, and off-road vehicle markets. This is a direct-hire position and it is based in the greater Flint, MI area.

This Sr.-level position will partner with the leadership team in translating business strategy into action that drives business results for this key location.

What You Will Do:

-Participate as lead staff member responsible for operation and performance of entire operation

-Lead multi-disciplined plant team in meeting monthly forecasts and appropriate business metric

-Develop strategic manufacturing direction and planning for 1-3 year planning horizon

-Direct preparation of operational budgets and coordinates capital plans, appropriation requests, and project follow up

-Accountable for leading manufacturing, environment, health & safety, engineering, quality, human resources, and finance to achieve business objectives

-Implement quarter-over-quarter improvement strategies

-Manage the day-to-day activities of the manufacturing process

-Analyze and implement process flow, inventory and velocity improvements

What You Need to Succeed:

* Bachelors degree

* 3 years experience as a Plant Manager and/or Operations Manager

* Machining, tooling, and/or metalworking experience is a plus

* Previous P&L responsibility

* Strong communication skills
