What are the responsibilities and job description for the Personal Injury Case Manager position at Confidential?
Personal Injury law firm seeks full time Pre-lit Case Manager to oversee personal injury cases in pre-litigation/litigation . Duties to include but are not limited to:
- Client Communications/Meetings
- Handling File Review and relevant casework on PI cases
- Requesting and Summarizing Medical Records w/Affidavits
- Tracking and documenting any subrogation liens.
- Calendaring, updating client case management file [Neos], Conduct Witness interviews and case investigation through telephone, written, and in-person communication.
- Conduct factual and Legal Research using LEXIS, Westlaw and/or other on-line facilities
- Working with attorneys and other staff in the firm on assigned duties.
- Ability to maintain an average caseload of 60 - 85 litigation cases in various stages of the PI process
- Three (3) to Five (5) consecutive years of Plaintiffs personal injury Case management work experience preferred
- Must be able to work high caseload and meet deadlines, while maintaining a positive attitude and providing exemplary customer service skills
- Excellent organization and time management skills required
- Ability to multitask and prioritize work in a high-volume environment
- Familiar with Neos Case Management Software
- - Ability to communicate and work well in a team environment required
- - Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state and local standards, including meeting qualitative and/or quantitative productivity standards.
- - Ability to maintain regular, punctual attendance consistent with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state and local standards
