About the Role:
The Licensing Manager is responsible for managing the day-to-day operations and lifecycle of inbound licensed partnerships. This role oversees how external brands’ intellectual property is integrated into products and ensures all materials align with licensor requirements. The position partners closely with cross-functional teams across Product, Marketing, Packaging, Legal, Finance, Sales, and Social to maintain contract compliance, accurate financial reporting, and effective collaboration with external partners.
What You’ll Do:
- Serve as the main liaison between licensors and internal teams for all inbound licensing matters
- Manage product development approvals from concept through production to ensure brand integrity and compliance
- Coordinate approvals for packaging, marketing, and advertising in accordance with licensor guidelines
- Support licensor communication including business reviews, performance updates, and promotional planning
- Oversee licensing agreements in partnership with Legal, tracking terms, categories, and financial obligations
- Support contract negotiations through data and performance analysis
- Track renewals, expirations, and amendments to ensure timely action
- Manage quarterly royalty reporting, partner payments, and reconciliation with Finance
- Prepare royalty forecasts, financial summaries, and accrual data for planning and updates
- Maintain royalty reporting systems, including contract setup and rate accuracy
- Develop clear and engaging presentations for reviews and sales support
- Collaborate on category growth and partnership opportunities
- Partner with global teams to ensure consistent communication and compliance across markets
What You’ll Bring:
- 4-6 years of experience in brand licensing, account management, or consumer products
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or related field
- Strong understanding of licensing agreements, approval workflows, and royalty tracking
- Proven experience managing licensor relationships and coordinating across teams
- Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint with strong analytical and presentation skills
- Excellent attention to detail, organization, and financial accuracy
- Experience in a fast-paced, global environment preferred
- Experience working with royalty management systems such as WestEnd Workspace or similar tools to manage contracts and reporting
This is a hybrid position in the Atlanta area.
