Overview
We are seeking a highly qualified and dedicated Licensed Nursing Home Administrator (LNHA) to lead our long-term care facility. The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in nursing home administration, with a strong background in managing assisted living and memory care services. The LNHA will oversee daily operations, uphold quality standards, and drive strategic initiatives to enhance the facility’s reputation and operational efficiency.
Duties
- Provide comprehensive leadership in managing nursing home operations, including clinical services, resident care, and administrative functions.
- Develop and implement care plans tailored to residents’ needs, including Alzheimer’s care, dementia care, and memory support programs.
- Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local health regulations governing long-term care facilities.
- Supervise healthcare staff, including nursing leadership, social workers, and caregiving teams, fostering a culture of excellence and accountability.
- Oversee financial management activities such as budgeting, healthcare financial management, and resource allocation to maintain fiscal health.
- Maintain high standards of medication administration and safety protocols for residents’ well-being.
- Collaborate with community partners to enhance home & community care services and support residents’ transition between settings.
- Lead efforts in quality improvement initiatives aimed at elevating resident satisfaction and operational performance.
Experience
- Proven experience in nursing home administration or healthcare management within assisted living or long-term care settings.
- Extensive knowledge of long-term care regulations, health regulation policies, and compliance requirements.
- Demonstrated leadership skills with supervising experience in healthcare environments involving senior care or group homes.
- Strong background working with individuals with developmental disabilities, Alzheimer’s disease, dementia, or memory impairments.
- Experience managing healthcare financials including budgeting, cost control, and financial planning for senior or retirement homes.
- Familiarity with home & community care models and home care services delivery.
- Prior nursing leadership experience combined with operational management expertise in a licensed facility is highly desirable.
Qualifications -
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Nursing, or a related field
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in healthcare management, with at least 3 years in a leadership role within a long-term care facility.
- Licensure: Must hold a valid Nursing Home Administrator license.
