Position Summary:
The Home Health Clinical Director is responsible for overseeing the daily clinical operations of a home health program. This role partners with field staff and leadership to ensure high-quality, patient-centered care, while maintaining operational efficiency, regulatory compliance, and strong team performance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage daily clinical operations to ensure effective and efficient service delivery
- Provide leadership to promote quality, safety, and patient satisfaction
- Oversee staff education, competency, and performance evaluations
- Ensure appropriate staffing levels and clinical capacity to meet patient needs
- Monitor care delivery for quality, compliance, and adherence to standards
- Address patient concerns and implement process improvements as needed
- Support and develop clinical supervisors and team members
- Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams regarding patient care
- Drive recruitment, hiring, and retention of clinical staff
- Participate in performance improvement and quality initiatives
Qualifications:
- Active professional licensure in a healthcare field (e.g., RN, PT, OT, SLP)
- Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree preferred
- Minimum 5 years of clinical experience, including at least 2 years in a leadership role
- Experience in home health or a similar healthcare setting preferred
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
- Knowledge of healthcare regulations, compliance, and quality standards
Demonstrated ability to coach, mentor, and develop team members
