A confidential and fast-growing Family Office is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Controller to oversee accounting operations, financial reporting, and various tax and investment functions across a diverse portfolio of entities.

The successful candidate will work closely with senior leadership and will be entrusted with sensitive financial information requiring the utmost discretion and accuracy.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee month-, quarter-, and year-end close processes, including journal entries, reconciliations, and financial reporting.
- Prepare and distribute accurate and timely financial statements for multiple entities and personal holdings.
- Research and resolve balance sheet and income statement discrepancies; respond to ad hoc financial and investment inquiries.
- Consolidate and analyze financial data across various entities for reporting and planning purposes.
- Serve as the primary contact for accounting inquiries, reconciliations, and exceptions.
- Develop, implement, and maintain internal controls, accounting systems, and policies to ensure compliance and scalability.
- Prepare and review management reports, audit materials, and tax documentation.
- Manage and monitor multiple bank accounts, credit cards, and expense reimbursements, including transfers and funding requests.
- Drive process improvements and automation initiatives in a high-growth, multi-entity environment.
- Partner with leadership to support budgeting, forecasting, and investment planning.
- Demonstrate professionalism, accuracy, and discretion consistent with Family Office standards.
Qualifications
- CPA required; degree in Accounting or Finance (MBA a plus).
- 5 years of progressive accounting experience, including Family Office experience (required).
- Strong understanding of individual, trust, partnership, corporate, investment, and private equity accounting.
- Advanced proficiency in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint, and experience with NetSuite, QuickBooks, or similar platforms.
- Proven success in startup or high-growth environments, with the ability to adapt to changing priorities.
- Exceptional organizational and analytical skills, with a proactive and solutions-focused approach.
- High degree of integrity and confidentiality when handling sensitive financial and personal information.
- On-site presence required at the Fort Lauderdale headquarters.
Salary : $140,000 - $200,000
