What are the responsibilities and job description for the Assistant Controller position at Confidential?
This role will be providing support as a finance business partner, through meaningful analytics on spend, capital expenditures, driving forecast, and identification of risks and opportunities for the business. This candidate should be comfortable analyzing balance sheets in order to forecast revenue and keep track of accounts payable and receivable.
Responsibilities
- Partner and inform leadership about finance and budget performance
- Responsible for compiling monthly financial and operation KPI reporting for our operation leadership team
- Monitor monthly variance and provide analytics and insights on financial spend drivers
- Capital expenditure management and assist operation team on capital project management
- Execute on ad-hoc financial analysis for manufacturing related projects
- Inventory planning, management, and reconciliation
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or relevant field
- 3 - 5 years experience in relevant financial positions
- Strong technical, analytical, communication and presentation skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Excel
- Excellent analytical skills and the ability to articulate financial strategy, results, and forecasts as required
