Job Description: Community Area Manager
Role Summary:
Hiring a Community Area who will be responsible for community operations and upkeep of multi family communities in Indiana.
As a Community Area manager, you will be responsible for overall community operations including collecting site and home rents, ensuring a clean community, overseeing home remodeling process, new home deliveries and setups, issuing community violation notices and enforcing community guidelines. Building great relationships with residents and vendors. Working with local agencies on compliance and working closely with Regional Management to ensure operational excellence.
Job Duties:
- · Manage Overall community Operations including rent collections, enforcing community guidelines posting violations, reporting crime, managing eviction process and overall cleanliness of the community.
- · Drive/Walk communities weekly to ensure homes are clean, show ready, locked up and evaluate oversee community appearance and curb appeal.
- · Collect home and site rents within the community.
- · Establish and maintain relationships with tenants, area officials, vendors, contractors and suppliers.
- · Appear in court on behalf of the Company regarding evictions unless the state requires a lawyer in which case all paperwork must be submitted in a timely manner.
- · Manage and oversee community events and promotions to sell and lease homes within your designated communities.
- Coordinate with contractors for all rental units and grounds including but not limited to: lock changes, plumbing/sewer repairs and maintenance, electric/gas repairs and maintenance, home refurbs, home repairs, landscaping, infrastructure, etc...
- Provide basic clean up in the communities such as picking up loose trash, reporting maintenance issues and ensuring communities are clean and free of any hazards.
- · Work with sales team to coordinate and perform home tours.
- · Present and maintain a professional image on behalf of company while interacting with prospective and current residents.
- · Availability as needed on weekends and holidays depending on needs of the business.
- · Perform other duties and special projects as assigned by the leadership.
Required Skills:
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Basic knowledge of MH home infrastructure and mechanics
- Must be able to lift at least 20 lbs.
- · Excellent customer service skills
- · Must be self-motivated, independent, and able to work with minimal supervision.
- · Computer skills including Microsoft Office software products.
- Must have valid Driver's License and reliable transportation.
- Spanish speaking preferred, but not required.
- Have a "Can do" attitude.
Education and Experience:
- · High School Diploma or equivalent
- · Prior Manufactured Housing or multi-family community experience preferred.
- · At least 2 years property management experience preferred.
Job type:
Full time - 35 hours per week.
Remote - Work from home or office in Noblesville. Required to travel to communities weekly.
Salary: Dependent on experience.
Schedule: Monday – Friday, regular business hours with some on call weekends and holidays if emergencies transpire.

Pay: $40,000.00 - $45,000.00 per year
