Position Summary
The National Account Manager owns and grows the Walmart business by executing joint business plans that drive sustainable sales, margin, and market share growth across in-store and eCommerce. This role serves as the primary day-to-day contact with Walmart merchants and cross-functional partners, leading line reviews, assortment execution, forecasting, and promotional planning in support of Walmart’s EDLP and omnichannel strategies.
This is a work-from-home role; candidates must be located in or near Bentonville, AR for frequent in-person collaboration.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive revenue, net margin, and market share growth through best-in-class Walmart account management.
- Serve as primary contact for Walmart merchants and internal cross-functional teams.
- Lead line reviews, assortment optimization, SKU lifecycle management, and innovation launches.
- Execute omnichannel strategies across stores, Walmart.com, and Marketplace.
- Manage item setup, maintenance, and compliance within Walmart systems.
- Leverage POS, Luminate, and digital analytics to identify growth opportunities and support fact-based selling.
- Monitor competitive and category trends to strengthen Walmart partnerships.
- Ensure compliance with Walmart policies, timelines, modular standards, and scorecards.
Attributes & Skills
- Proven ability to drive sales at large retailers in fast-paced, evolving categories; Walmart experience preferred.
- Strategic thinker with strong attention to detail and a hands-on, execution-focused mindset.
- Strong business and financial acumen with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Advanced analytical capability, including analyzing large data sets and automating reports.

Qualifications
- BA/BS degree or equivalent experience.
- 2–3 years of major account sales or retail buying/merchandising experience; Walmart experience preferred.
- Strong analytical, financial, and communication skills with advanced Excel proficiency.
- Retail Link / Scintilla experience preferred.
- Proven ability to execute promotions and manage fast-paced categories.
- Experience in durable goods a plus.
- Ability to travel internationally (Asia) for line reviews.
Pay: $65,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
