Housekeeper/Laundry Attendant

Job Summary
We are b.side motel rv a beautiful boutique motel and rv camping site in beautiful Bandon, OR. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining the cleanliness and presentation of our linens and garments. This position involves operating laundry equipment, ensuring high standards of cleanliness, and providing exceptional service to our guests in a hotel environment.

Duties

• Operate washing machines, dryers, and other laundry equipment efficiently and safely.
• Sort, wash, dry, and fold linens and garments according to established procedures.
• Inspect items for stains or damage prior to laundering and report any issues to management.
• Maintain cleanliness of the laundry area, ensuring all equipment is clean and in good working order.
• Assist with inventory management of laundry supplies and notify management when stock is low.
• Perform dry cleaning tasks as needed, adhering to proper handling procedures for delicate fabrics.
• Follow safety protocols and adhere to health regulations while performing all duties.

Responsibilities:
- Perform a variety of cleaning tasks, including dusting, sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and disinfecting
- Clean and sanitize bathrooms, kitchens, and other common areas
- Empty trash and replace liners
- Restock supplies such as toilet paper, paper towels, and soap
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of storage areas
- Follow all safety guidelines and protocols
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the supervisor

Qualifications:
- Previous experience in industrial cleaning, custodial work, or housekeeping management is preferred but not required
- Attention to detail and thoroughness in completing tasks
- Ability to work independently and follow instructions
- Good physical stamina and ability to stand, bend, and lift for extended periods of time
- Excellent time management skills and ability to prioritize tasks
- Strong communication skills

Skills

• Experience in a hotel or hospitality setting is preferred but not required.
• Strong attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards.
• Ability to operate laundry machinery effectively and safely.
• Knowledge of laundering techniques including sorting, washing, drying, and folding various types of fabrics.
• Good communication skills and the ability to work well in a team-oriented environment.
• Physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks and lift heavy loads as necessary.
