AI Project Manager

Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and strategic AI Project Manager to lead innovative artificial intelligence initiatives across diverse enterprise environments. Duties

• Lead end-to-end planning, execution, and delivery of AI projects utilizing Agile, SAFe, Waterfall, and other project management methodologies.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather detailed requirements and translate them into actionable project plans aligned with SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle) standards.
• Manage project schedules using tools such as Microsoft Project, Visio, Jira, VersionOne, and SharePoint to ensure timely delivery within scope and budget.
• Oversee the development and testing of AI models, including user acceptance testing (UAT), test case creation, and test-driven development practices.
• Coordinate with IT infrastructure teams to ensure robust deployment on cloud platforms like AWS and support disaster recovery planning.
• Monitor project progress through metrics such as project scheduling adherence, release management milestones, and program management KPIs.
• Facilitate effective communication among technical teams, business units, and executive stakeholders to ensure clarity on project objectives and deliverables.
• Lead risk management efforts by identifying potential issues early and implementing mitigation strategies aligned with IT governance standards.
• Ensure compliance with PMBOK guidelines and enterprise governance policies throughout all phases of project execution.

Skills

• Proven expertise in project management software including Microsoft Project, SharePoint, Jira, VersionOne, TFS (Team Foundation Server), and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Strong understanding of cloud computing platforms such as AWS and enterprise software integration techniques.
• Deep knowledge of SDLC processes, Agile frameworks (including Kanban), SAFe principles, Waterfall methodology, and IT governance standards.
• Experience managing databases like SQL Server and Oracle; familiarity with data analysis tools for requirements gathering and analysis skills.
• Ability to develop comprehensive test cases for user acceptance testing (UAT) and support test-driven development initiatives.
• Proficiency in project scheduling, release management, program management, and organizational skills for effective time management.
• Excellent communication skills for negotiation, stakeholder engagement, and leadership in cross-functional teams.
• Familiarity with disaster recovery planning, IT infrastructure components, version control systems like Visual Studio Team Services (VSTS), and requirements documentation using Visio or SharePoint.
• Strong analytical skills combined with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail.
