About the Role
We're looking for an experienced Paralegal who thrives in a fast-paced civil litigation environment and brings a strong background in personal injury law. You'll play a central role in moving cases forward, from intake through discovery to trial prep, working directly with attorneys, investigators, clients, opposing counsel, and the court.
What You'll Do
- Draft pleadings and court filings
- Manage extensive, high-touch client communication
- Prepare discovery requests and responses
- Assist with intake calls from potential clients
- Coordinate directly with judges and opposing counsel
- Partner with investigators and attorneys on intake tracking, case evaluation, and sign-up decisions
- Support hearing and trial preparation, e-filing, and calendar management
What You Bring
- 5 years of civil litigation experience, including drafting motions, preparing discovery, reviewing records, scheduling, e-filing, and hearing/trial preparation
- Prior experience in a personal injury law office
- Skilled legal calendaring
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong client relations and interpersonal skills
- Highly organized, with sharp attention to detail
- Tech-savvy, proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel, and comfortable in legal case management software
Compensation & Benefits
- Salary: $80,000–$100,000, commensurate with experience (37.5 hours per week full time)
