Human Resources Coordinator
The Human Resources Coordinator supports day-to-day human resources operations across the employee lifecycle, including recruiting and onboarding coordination, employee relations support, HR administration, and compliance. This role serves as a key point of contact for employees and managers, helping ensure consistent HR practices, accurate documentation, and a positive employee experience in a fast-paced, multi-state environment.
Key Responsibilities
Employee Relations & HR Support
• Serve as a first point of contact for employee questions related to policies, procedures, benefits, and general HR matters
• Provide guidance to employees on HR processes and escalate complex employee relations issues to HR Business Partners as appropriate
• Support employee relations activities such as documentation, attendance tracking, corrective action records, and follow-up
• Assist HR Business Partners with investigations by gathering documentation, notes, and timelines as needed
• Maintain confidentiality and professionalism when handling sensitive employee matters
Recruiting & Onboarding Support
• Coordinate recruiting logistics for hourly and salaried roles, including interview scheduling and candidate communication
• Support job postings and candidate tracking in the ATS
• Coordinate pre-employment processes such as background checks, drug screens, and offer documentation
• Execute onboarding from offer acceptance through Day 1 readiness, including new hire paperwork, I-9, E-Verify, and orientation coordination
HR Administration & Employee Lifecycle
• Process employee transactions in HRIS, including hires, transfers, promotions, leaves, and terminations
• Maintain accurate employee records and personnel files in compliance with record-retention requirements
• Support offboarding processes, including exit documentation and benefits notifications
HRIS, Reporting & Data Accuracy
• Maintain data integrity in HR systems and ATS
• Run standard HR reports related to headcount, turnover, onboarding, and compliance
• Audit records and resolve discrepancies in coordination with HR, Payroll, and Operations
Benefits & Employee Support
• Assist with benefits administration, including enrollments, life events, and eligibility tracking
• Support Open Enrollment activities and employee communications
• Respond to employee questions regarding benefits programs and escalate complex issues as needed
Compliance & Documentation
• Support compliance with federal, state, and local employment requirements
• Track required documentation such as I-9s, certifications, acknowledgements, and training records
• Assist with audits, inspections, and internal reviews
Qualifications
Required
• 1–3 years of experience in HR coordination, HR administration, or generalist support
• Experience supporting employee relations processes and HR documentation
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and professionalism
• Proficiency with HRIS systems, ATS platforms, and Microsoft Office
Preferred
• Experience in multi-state, hourly workforce environments
• Exposure to employee relations investigations or corrective action processes
• Experience in manufacturing, distribution, or operations-driven settings
