Summary / Objective
The Senior Financial Analyst, FP&A supports the Finance team by providing accurate financial analysis, reporting, and forecasting to help guide business decisions. This role partners across departments to deliver insights that improve profitability, efficiency, and overall company performance.
Essential Functions
- Assist in preparing annual budgets, quarterly forecasts, and long-term financial projections.
- Analyze monthly financial results and prepare variance reports with clear insights and recommendations.
- Develop and maintain financial models for planning and scenario analysis.
- Support KPI tracking and performance reporting to management.
- Partner with departments to gather data and understand key business drivers.
- Assist with capital expenditure analysis and ROI evaluations.
- Contribute to improving financial systems, tools, and reporting processes.
- Help prepare presentations and materials for executive reviews.
- Translate complex financial data into clear, actionable insights.
Educational Requirements / Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or Business Administration required.
- 3–6 years of experience in FP&A, accounting, or related financial roles.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with proficiency in Excel and financial modeling.
- Experience with ERP or BI tools (Power BI, Tableau) preferred.
- Excellent communication skills with attention to detail and organization.
- Team-oriented with a strong desire to learn and grow within the finance function.
- Experience in the equipment rental, construction, or industrial sectors is a plus.
