Our Oil & Gas Technology platform company is seeking a Data Scientist to support data-driven decision-making across the business. This role will partner with cross-functional teams to analyze complex datasets, develop models, and deliver insights that inform strategy and operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze large, complex datasets to identify trends, patterns, and actionable insights
- Develop, test, and deploy statistical models and machine learning solutions
- Build dashboards, reports, and data visualizations for business stakeholders
- Partner with product, operations, finance, and leadership teams to translate business questions into analytical solutions
- Clean, validate, and maintain data pipelines to ensure accuracy and reliability
- Conduct ad hoc analyses to support strategic initiatives
- Document methodologies, assumptions, and findings clearly
- Support continuous improvement of data tools, processes, and best practices
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related field
- 4 years of professional experience in data science, analytics, or a related role
- Strong proficiency in Python and/or R for data analysis and modeling
- Experience with SQL and relational databases
- Familiarity with machine learning techniques (e.g., regression, classification, clustering, time-series)
Preferred Experience
- Experience working with cloud platforms or big data tools
- Exposure to productionizing models or working with engineering teams
- SaaS Company or Oil & Gas space experience a huge plus

Salary : $85,000 - $120,000
