Position Overview:
We are looking to hire a U.S. focused Marketer based in our New York office to drive institutional asset growth across our long-only and alternative strategies. The successful candidate will demonstrate a consistent history of surpassing fundraising goals and building durable institutional relationships. While experience raising assets in credit strategies is strongly preferred, candidates with equity product experience will also be considered. A strong understanding of the institutional landscape, including pensions, insurance companies, consultants, and other large allocators, is essential.
Key Responsibilities:
- Drive institutional asset growth by developing and executing targeted marketing strategies across long‑only and alternative offerings
- Identify and originate new institutional client opportunities and manage the onboarding of new relationships
- Collaborate with senior leadership, marketing colleagues, and investment teams to coordinate business development initiatives
- Develop a comprehensive understanding of the firm’s investment capabilities and communicate them effectively to prospective clients
Requirements:
- Extensive knowledge of credit‑oriented investment strategies and institutional asset classes
- Deep, active relationships across public and private pensions, insurance companies, consultants, and other large institutional allocators
- Consistent and verifiable success raising institutional capital at an individual level
- Proven ability to operate autonomously in a fast‑paced, entrepreneurial organization
- High‑energy, competitive, and results‑focused with exceptional drive and discipline
- Strong academic background from a leading institution; Bachelor’s degree required, MBA and/or CFA preferred
