Position Summary
Roberts Energy is seeking a dependable and hardworking HVAC & Fuel Service Laborer to join our growing service team.
No previous HVAC or trade experience is required. This is an entry-level position for someone who is reliable, willing to work with their hands, and interested in learning while working alongside experienced technicians.
The Laborer will assist our service team with HVAC and fuel equipment installations, job-site preparation and cleanup, moving equipment and materials, and other general labor duties.
This is a great opportunity for someone looking to get started in the trades and gain hands-on experience in the HVAC and energy industry.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist service technicians with HVAC and fuel equipment installations and service work.
- Load, unload, carry, and organize equipment, tools, parts, and materials.
- Assist with removing and replacing boilers, furnaces, water heaters, fuel tanks, and related equipment.
- Prepare and clean up job sites before, during, and after work.
- Help maintain clean and organized service vehicles, shop areas, and equipment.
- Safely use basic hand and power tools after receiving proper training.
- Follow instructions from service technicians and supervisors.
- Follow all company safety procedures and job-site requirements.
- Communicate professionally and respectfully with customers and coworkers.
- Perform other general labor and service-support duties as needed.
Qualifications
- No previous HVAC or trade experience required.
- Willingness to learn and work hard.
- Dependable and able to arrive to work on time.
- Comfortable performing hands-on, physical work.
- Ability to lift and move equipment and materials associated with HVAC and fuel service work.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Willingness to work indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions.
- Ability to follow instructions and safety procedures.
- Valid driver's license preferred.
