What You'll Do
- Diagnose, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain commercial HVAC/R and related mechanical systems
- Perform HVAC service calls, repairs, installations, inspections, and preventative maintenance
- Determine service issues, identify necessary replacement parts, and calibrate systems according to manufacturer recommendations
- Safely perform and document scheduled preventive maintenance routines
- Maintain appropriate stock of parts, tools, and safety equipment in the company vehicle
- Communicate clearly with customers regarding current issues, recommended solutions, timelines, and completed work
- Identify and report potential opportunities for additional business, including newer systems, service contracts, and additional services
- Document installed equipment, including make, model, serial number, fuel type, test measurements, and photographs when required
- Travel to commercial customer locations throughout the service area
What We're Looking For
- 3-5 years of professional HVAC experience required
- Commercial HVAC experience strongly preferred
- NH and/or VT Gas license preferred
- EPA certification preferred
- Additional certifications such as CTEP, Natural Gas, S-Electrical, and Oil are a plus
- Strong HVAC troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Strong follow-through, professionalism, discretion, and integrity
- Ability to work independently in the field with minimal supervision
- Ability to maintain and properly operate a company vehicle
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs on a daily basis
- Ability to climb and work from scaffolding, ladders, and stairs as required
- Valid, unrestricted driver's license required
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States
- Willingness to complete a background verification and motor vehicle check
- Willingness to complete a Post-Offer Pre-Employment Screen (POPES)
