POSITION SUMMARY

The Vice President of Product Management, Operations & Commercialization is the enterprise leader responsible for turning scientific, clinical, digital, and service innovations into market-ready offerings that customers can understand, purchase, adopt, and continue using. This role owns the connective tissue from product strategy through launch, operational delivery, customer journey, and commercial performance.

The VP will establish a disciplined product operating system, align cross-functional teams around clear priorities, remove execution friction, and ensure every launch is scientifically credible, operationally ready, commercially compelling, and measurable after release. The role is accountable not only for launching products, but for improving conversion, adoption, retention, average order value, lifetime value, and the quality and consistency of the end-to-end customer experience.

SUCCESS LOOKS LIKE

  • A disciplined product operating system that connects strategy to execution across a rapidly scaling precision-health portfolio
  • Every launch is scientifically credible, operationally ready, commercially compelling, and measurable post-release
  • Measurable improvement in conversion, adoption, retention, average order value, and customer lifetime value
  • Clear dashboards and operating reviews that drive accountability, transparency, and fast decision-making at all levels

OBJECTIVES

  • Own the enterprise product portfolio and roadmap across diagnostics, supplements, subscriptions, digital health tools, clinical services, and emerging precision-health offerings
  • Translate company strategy, customer needs, scientific opportunity, market trends, and financial goals into a prioritized product pipeline with clear sequencing and resource requirements
  • Lead commercialization from approved concept through launch readiness, market introduction, adoption, and post-launch optimization
  • Build integrated launch plans spanning product, science, clinical, regulatory, legal, technology, supply chain, finance, marketing, sales, customer care, and practitioner education
  • Own and continuously improve the full customer lifecycle: awareness, consultation, purchase, onboarding, first value, engagement, retention, expansion, and advocacy
  • Identify and eliminate friction that prevents customers from engaging, converting, purchasing additional solutions, and staying longer
  • Build and run the cross-functional product operating system including intake, prioritization, requirements, stage gates, launch calendars, dependency management, and post-launch reviews
  • Work in close partnership with scientific, clinical, medical, and regulatory leaders to ensure products and experiences are evidence-based, clinically responsible, and compliant
  • Ensure consumer-facing, practitioner-facing, and sales materials consistently reflect the current scientific narrative and approved claims
  • Partner with the Chief of Staff to align enterprise priorities, resolve cross-functional barriers, and ensure commitments translate into completed work
  • Build product-specific funnel reporting and establish a regular operating cadence to diagnose performance and rapidly test improvements
  • Communicate product priorities, progress, risks, and results clearly to the President & COO and executive leadership team

COMPETENCIES

  • Enterprise-minded operator who can move comfortably between strategy, detailed execution, customer experience, and financial outcomes
  • Strong translator who can make science, technology, clinical information, and customer data actionable for commercial teams and understandable to customers
  • Data-driven and financially literate, with the ability to build business cases, interpret funnel and unit-economics performance, and allocate resources against the highest-value opportunities
  • Proven ability to build and run cross-functional product operating systems in a complex, high-growth environment
  • Highly accountable, decisive, and practical; comfortable creating structure when priorities and information evolve quickly
  • Customer-obsessed and brand-conscious, with high standards for clarity, quality, trust, and consistency
  • Influential leader who earns alignment across functions without relying solely on direct authority
  • Change management capability to drive adoption of new systems, standards, and ways of working across diverse stakeholders

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

  • 10 years of progressive leadership in product management, commercialization, operations, customer experience, or related functions, including significant executive-level responsibility
  • Demonstrated success bringing products or services from concept to launch and scaling them across multiple channels or customer segments
  • Experience in health, wellness, diagnostics, supplements, consumer health, digital health, healthcare services, or another regulated and science-led category strongly preferred
  • Proven ability to improve conversion, adoption, retention, recurring revenue, customer lifetime value, and operational performance
  • Experience leading complex cross-functional programs involving product, technology, marketing, sales, clinical/scientific, regulatory, supply chain, and customer support teams
  • Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree or equivalent executive experience preferred

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
