OVERVIEW:
We are seeking an experienced and proactive Facilities Manager to oversee a team of maintenance professionals. This role is key to maintaining the high standards of our properties, which include a high-end private club, 4-diamond boutique hotel, spa, and commercial office and retail buildings. The ideal candidate brings a background in hospitality or luxury facilities management, with a commitment to ensuring a “Platinum” level guest and tenant experience.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee, plan, coordinate, and manage all facility maintenance responsibilities relative to a private club, a portfolio of six office buildings, and a portfolio of retail buildings located in Lafayette.
- supervise and coordinate daily activities of maintenance team.
- Conduct regular inspections of all facilities to identify areas needing maintenance, upgrades, or preventive repair.
- Proactively identify and address potential issues before they escalate into costly repairs or service interruptions.
- Manage vendor relationships to ensure efficient operations.
- Collaborate closely with the Senior Property Manager to plan and execute facility improvements and capital projects based on the priorities of the portfolio.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards, building codes, and brand-quality expectations.
- Maintain a focus on operational excellence and the guest/tenant experience consistent with high-end hospitality environments.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in maintenance or facilities management within hospitality, luxury residential, and commercial property environments.
- Strong leadership and communication skills; able to motivate and manage a team effectively.
- Excellent eye for detail and ability to anticipate maintenance needs.
- Working knowledge of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, pool / spa equipment and general building systems.
- Ability to manage budgets, contractors, and multiple properties simultaneously.
