Job Summary
Urban Counseling Intistue is seeking a dedicated and experienced Clinical Supervisor to lead our outpatient Substance Use Disorder (SUD) clinical team. We are a Maryland-licensed, accreditation-based program providing high-quality telehealth services to individuals across the state. This role offers the flexibility of remote work with the opportunity to shape a growing clinical program.
Key Responsibilities
- Clinical Oversight: Provide weekly individual and group supervision to with clinical staff in accordance with COMAR 10.63.
- Compliance: Ensure all clinical documentation (assessments, ITPs, and progress notes) meets Maryland BHA and accreditation standards (CARF/The Joint Commission).
- Training: Facilitate staff development on ASAM criteria, evidence-based practices (CBT, DBT, MI), and ethical guidelines.
- Case Review: Conduct regular chart audits to ensure medical necessity and quality of care.
- Telehealth Management: Oversee the delivery of remote services to ensure platform security and HIPAA compliance.
Required Qualifications (Maryland Specific)
- Licensure: Must hold a valid, unencumbered Maryland license as an LCADC, LCPC, or LCSW-C, CAC-AD must be approved by the Board of Professional Counselors to supervise ADT
- Supervisor Status: Must be a Maryland Board-Approved Clinical Supervisor (Board of Professional Counselors and Therapists or Board of Social Work Examiners). Must be able to supervise ADT
- Experience: Minimum of 3 years of clinical experience in the SUD field, with at least 1–2 years in a supervisory or leadership capacity.
- ASAM Knowledge: Expert-level proficiency with ASAM Criteria (3rd or 4th Edition).
