Responsibilities:
- Act as a trusted financial advisor to the CFO and Executive team, synthesizing financial data into strategic insights that influence key business decisions.
- Spearhead the annual budget and quarterly forecast cycles alongside finance leadership, building and maintaining robust models that enable accurate, forward-looking planning.
- Manage and develop a talented FP&A team across all levels, championing best practices, driving accountability, and creating an environment where people are set up to do their best work.
- Drive the monthly close process by producing comprehensive variance analyses that measure actual performance against budget, packaged into executive-ready reporting.
- Facilitate monthly financial reviews with P&L owners across the business, creating a consistent forum for performance discussion and course correction.
- Collaborate with P&L owners to size and evaluate the financial impact of strategic initiatives, deliver rigorous analysis, clear reporting, and structured project oversight or custom tracking solutions.
- Take full ownership of the FP&A tech stack and data infrastructure, identifying and implementing tools and platforms that elevate team capabilities.
- Develop and deliver high-quality financial presentations and analyses for executive and investor audiences, both on a recurring basis and in response to ad hoc requests.
- Play an active role in investor relations and M&A efforts, contributing financial expertise across buy- and sell-side transactions.
- Maintain a culture of operational excellence within FP&A by regularly auditing team workflows and driving improvements in efficiency, automation, and scalability.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related degree. MBA strongly preferred.
- Progressive finance leadership experience.
- Proven track record building and overseeing FP&A, business finance, and strategic finance teams across large-scale, multi-entity organizations.
- Systems experience including Power BI, Power Query, SQL, or Adaptive all deemed good.
- Thorough understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
- Ability to work collaboratively across multiple teams, business leaders, and external agencies to maximize performance, creativity, problem solving, and results.
