We’re partnering with a growing construction company based in Anaheim to identify a Director of Accounts Payable & Accounts Receivable to lead and scale their AP/AR operations across multiple entities.

This is a highly visible role responsible for driving structure, consistency, and accountability across payables and receivables — ideal for someone who enjoys building processes, leading teams, and improving day-to-day operational efficiency.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Lead all Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable operations across multiple legal entities

• Oversee daily transaction processing, issue resolution, and workflow management

• Manage, coach, and develop AP/AR team members with clear expectations and performance standards

• Standardize processes, documentation, and internal controls across entities

• Improve approval workflows, vendor management, billing accuracy, and collections processes

• Partner closely with Accounting leadership and Controllers to support close timelines and operational priorities

• Develop reporting and KPIs to provide visibility into AP/AR performance and workload trends

• Assess staffing capacity and recommend structure improvements as the business grows

What We’re Looking For

• Proven experience leading AP and AR teams in a multi-entity environment

• Background supporting high-volume or project-based industries (construction experience strongly preferred)

• Strong process improvement and operational mindset

• Hands-on leadership style with the ability to drive accountability

• Experience working with accounting systems and advanced Excel skills

• Ability to operate in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
