Position Summary: The Program Supervisor oversees the daily operations and overall management. The Supervisor provides leadership to program staff, ensures compliance with funding and housing regulations, and collaborates closely with internal departments and community partners.
Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate all direct care and support services, including staff scheduling, performance management, and crisis intervention (including 24/7 cell phone coverage).
- Manage program intake procedures, including applicant screening and monthly outcome reporting to HRA and DHS, maintaining occupancy rates above 95%.
- Ensure compliance with LIHTC regulations, including tenant eligibility, annual certifications, and reporting requirements.
- Conduct regular chart audits to ensure accuracy, including progress notes, service plans, functional assessments, and reviews.
- Collaborate with Property Management and with Accounting to monitor rent payments, arrears, and entitlements for tenants.
- Lead staff training and professional development initiatives; evaluate performance and provide coaching
- Oversee program evaluation, quality assurance, and continuous improvement efforts
- Monitor and analyze healthcare outcomes for special needs tenants and coordinate care with hospitals, health providers, and care coordination networks.
- Facilitate Resident Advisory Council meetings and serve as liaison to ensure tenant voices are represented in program decision-making.
Qualifications
- Master’s Degree in Psychology, Social Work, or a related mental health discipline.
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience working with individuals with mental health challenges or in a supportive housing environment.
- Proven leadership and supervisory experience, with the ability to motivate and guide a multidisciplinary team.
- Knowledge of LIHTC compliance, supportive housing regulations, and entitlement programs preferred.
