Overview
CTG is seeking to fill a BI Developer position for our client in San Francisco, CA.
Duration: 12 months
Description:
CTG is looking for a BI Developer experienced in Microsoft BI tools to design and develop business intelligence, data warehousing, and reporting solutions. The role focuses on building Power BI dashboards, implementing security, optimizing performance, and writing complex queries using Power Query, DAX, R, and T-SQL.
Duties:
Develop and maintain Power BI dashboards, paginated reports, and SSRS reports.
Write and optimize queries using Power Query, DAX, R, and T-SQL.
Implement and manage data security and performance optimization in Power BI.
Collaborate with business users to gather requirements and deliver insights.
Document BI solutions and ensure data quality and consistency.
Skills:
Proficiency in Power BI, Power BI Report Builder, Power Query, SSRS, and SQL Server.
Strong skills in DAX, T-SQL, and R.
Experience with data modeling, performance tuning, and data security.
Knowledge of data governance, quality, and compliance best practices.
Experience:
5 years in BI development, including 3 years with Microsoft Power BI and SQL Server.
Experience with data warehousing and reporting environments.
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
Excellent verbal and written English communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group are required.

The expected base salary for this position ranges from $63.00 to $75.00/hour. Salary offers are based on a wide range of factors including relevant skills, training, experience, education, market factors, and where applicable, licensure or certifications obtained. In addition to salary, a competitive benefit package is also offered.
