JOB TITLE: Digital Hardware Design Engineer

JOB DESCRIPTION: Our client, a large defense contractor, has an immediate opening for a Digital Hardware Design Engineer to work from their Scottsdale AZ facility. Join our Land and Air Systems Integrated Engineering Solutions team and develop tactical radio hardware for those who lead, protect, and serve the world we live in. Our client has an immediate opening for a Senior Digital Hardware Design Engineer to join our cross-disciplinary team responsible for developing tactical radio hardware. These programs help to ensure robust and secure communications for the warfighter. This role includes schematic design and layout of hardware with ARM processors and microcontrollers, DDR RAM (DDR3, DDR4, LPDDR4) memory interfaces, and digital interfaces (e.g. I2C, SPI, SDIO). We encourage you to apply if you have any of these preferred skills or experiences: schematic capture and layout design of digital subsystems and components for Software Defined Radios (SDRs), use of lab test equipment including multimeters, oscilloscopes, and other test equipment, experience designing PCBs/PWBs using Siemens Xpedition or similar tools.
QUALIFICATIONS: Requires a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, or a related Science, Engineering, Technology or Mathematics field. Also requires 5 years of job-related experience, or a Master's degree plus 3 years of job-related experience. Due to the nature of work performed within our facilities, U.S. citizenship is required.
