Key Responsibilities
- Manage end?to?end delivery of AMI projects and workstreams, including scope, schedule, budget, risks, issues, and dependencies
- Coordinate across IT, Operations, Meter Services, Customer Operations, Regulatory teams, and external vendors
- Support program?level planning, sequencing, and milestone tracking across multiple AMI initiatives
- Manage vendor relationships, contracts, SLAs, and deliverables for meters, networks, integrators, and field services
- Coordinate field deployment, installation schedules, testing, and cutover activities
- Identify, assess, and mitigate technical, operational, customer, and regulatory risks
- Support governance reviews, change control, and executive reporting
- Ensure alignment with utility standards, cybersecurity, safety, and regulatory commitments
- Develop status reports, dashboards, and executive summaries
- Translate technical AMI topics into clear business impacts for non?technical stakeholders
- Support documentation for regulatory filings, audits, and funding or grant reporting
Required Skills & Experience
- 4 years of project management experience delivering infrastructure, technology, or utility programs
- Proven ability to manage schedules, budgets, vendors, and cross?functional teams
- Strong communication skills, including executive?level reporting
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast?paced, highly interdependent environment
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with AMI, smart grid, or utility technology programs
- Familiarity with meters, RF/mesh/cellular networks, HES, MDMS, and system integrations
- Experience in regulated utility environments
- PMP or similar project management certification
- Vendor?led implementations and field deployment experience
