Registered Nurse - Emergency Unit

Key Responsibilities

• Assess patient conditions, including vital signs, symptoms, and medical history
• Develop and implement individualized patient care plans
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
• Monitor patient progress and adjust care plans as needed
• Perform advanced nursing procedures and interventions
• Respond to medical emergencies, including stroke, heart, trauma, and cardiac arrest codes
• Provide patient and family education
• Document all patient care activities accurately and thoroughly in the EMR
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals
• Ensure a safe and therapeutic environment for patients
• Float within the Emergency Department and provide additional support in CED or WED areas as needed

Required Qualifications

• 2 years of experience
• Associate's Degree
• Basic Life Support (BLS)
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)
• Registered Nurse (RN) License in the state of practice or a Compact License
