Duties & Responsibilities
- Administer tube feedings.
- Administer medications as prescribed by a doctor on a daily basis.
- Documentation of prescription medication administration to students in electronic medical system.
- Implement seizure precautions and treatments.
- Attend field trips and community-based trips.
- Provide tracheostomy care and, if needed, replacement of tracheostomy tube.
- Support with toileting routines in the nurse's office.
- Provide first aid and emergency care for injuries and illnesses.
- Implement nursing care plans as prescribed.
- Other duties as assigned
- Bachelor's degree in nursing required OR RN program completed OR LPN program completed
- Current registered nurse or licensed practical nurse licensure required.
- Experience working with special needs children preferred.
- Current CPR/First Aid certification required.
- Current police, child abuse and FBI Fingerprint clearances required (must be dated within one year of hire date).

Salary
- LPN Rates: Support Hay, Level 11: $24.82 - 32.90/hr.
- RN Rates: Support Hay, Level 13: $31.35 - $41.55/hr.
- BSN Rates: Support Hay, Level 14: $34.88 - $46.23/hr.
