Warehouse Specialist

Key Responsibilities

• Perform cash handling functions in accordance with established operational procedures and controls
• Receive, verify, process, balance, reconcile, and settle currency and coin holdings
• Ensure the accuracy of automated accounting and transfer records
• Operate processing equipment and troubleshoot operational issues to support production and service requirements
• Complete customer transactions and inventory management activities
• Process financial accounting transactions and entries using applicable accounting and cash operations systems
• Maintain accurate inventory records, batch statistics, transfers, differences, and other required data elements
• Identify and resolve exceptions through research, data analysis, and reconciliation
• Follow required documentation, Treasury regulations, governance, and audit procedures
• Transfer and store significant quantities and values of currency and coin using material handling equipment
• Maintain custody, accountability, and accuracy throughout cash handling and inventory processes
• Destroy unfit currency in accordance with established procedures
• Work effectively in a team-oriented, results-focused environment
• Communicate information requiring explanation or interpretation to relevant stakeholders
• Make timely operational decisions and take ownership of completing assigned work

Required Qualifications
