About the Role
The HR Coordinator performs a wide range of personnel and clerical support tasks across multiple HR functions, including employee records, benefits, training, employment documentation, compensation support, and compliance. This role requires strong attention to detail, confidentiality, and the ability to work effectively with employees at all levels.
Responsibilities
- Perform general HR personnel and clerical tasks related to employee records, benefits, training, employment, compensation, and equal employment opportunity.
- Maintain accurate manual and digital personnel files and ensure compliance with company policies and data integrity standards.
- Collect, manage, and compile sensitive HR data and statistics; prepare routine and ad hoc HR reports.
- Understand and manage the flow of information between internal and external HR Information Systems (HRIS).
- Provide HR‑related information to authorized employees, leaders, and external agencies in accordance with established policies and procedures.
- Support employees by answering questions related to HR policies, procedures, employee services, non‑monetary recognition programs, and work‑life initiatives.
- Demonstrate familiarity with HR policies, procedures, employee data, surveys/market data, labor laws, EEO guidelines, and collective bargaining agreements as applicable.
- Collaborate with HR team members to analyze, enhance, and streamline HR processes and systems that support workforce management.
Qualifications
- Experience in HR data and records management.
- Working knowledge of HR compliance requirements (labor laws, EEO regulations, audit processes, etc.).
- Ability to collaborate with cross‑functional teams, both internal and external.
- 3–5 years of HR or related administrative experience.
- Degree preferred but not required.
- Availability for standard 1st shift, Monday–Friday.
- Long‑term contract assignment (most likely through the end of the year).
