Medical Assistant - Mobile Health Unit
Assignment: Temp to potential hire
Location: Lawrence MA
Schedule: 40HPW; Mon-Thurs 1pm-9:30pm, Fri 8:30am-5pm
Pay: $24-27/hour
*MUST have driver's license - will be driving the mobile health unit to assigned destinations in the Merrimack Valley!
- Interview patients, record medical history, confirm purpose of visit and assist the clinician with patient care.
- Prepares patients for visit by taking blood pressure, weight and temperature; and reports pertinent information in medical records.
- Perform EKGs, ear irrigations, and throat cultures
- Collects urinalysis
- Conducts flu testing, glucose testing, and international normalized ratio (INR) testing
- Assists clinicians with treatments and dressings.
Requirements
- Graduate of a medical assistant program
- CPR/BLS Certified
- At least 1 year experience as an MA
