Responsibilities
- Skillfully cut, trim, and prepare various types of meat according to established standards and customer specifications
- Ensure all meat products are handled safely and hygienically in compliance with food safety regulations
- Package meat products efficiently while maintaining presentation quality and minimizing waste
- Assist customers with their selections, answer questions about cuts and preparation methods, and provide excellent customer service
- Maintain cleanliness of workstations, tools, and storage areas to uphold health standards
- Follow proper food handling procedures during processing, storage, and transportation of meat products
- Support inventory management by rotating stock and notifying supervisors of low supplies or quality concerns
Skills
