This position is responsible for overseeing and coordinating all operational activities within the warehouse. This position will include focuses on optimizing efficiency, productivity, and profitability across various departments.
Pay: 100-120K Bonus Full benefits Paid Time Off 401(k)
Duties and Responsibilities
- Oversight of multiple departments and functional areas within the branch to ensure smooth day-to-day operations.
- Providing regular reports and updates to senior management on the performance and progress of
- Communicates effectively with Corporate management and customers to ensure adherence to
issues that may arise.
- Develop and implement operational policies, procedures, and standards to streamline workflow,
- Responsible for overseeing and managing the financial performance, including participating in
- Monitor inventory levels, track stock movements, and optimize inventory management processes
- Responsible for meeting or surpassing daily Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), with accurate
- Lead and motivate warehouse staff, providing guidance, training, and performance feedback to
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, such as logistics, procurement, and customer service, to
- Engages in employee relations initiatives, promptly addressing and resolving employee concerns
- Provide the next level of support for escalated issues during work shifts.
- Collaborates with Corporate to facilitate escalations involving corporate resources (IT, network,
- Utilize warehouse management systems (WMS) and other technology tools to track inventory,
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, company policies, and industry standards
- All other duties assigned, based on the business the warehouse supports.
Required Skills and Experience
- 5-7 years of management experience (preferably in a high-volume, fast-paced production,
with P&L/budgets.
- Demonstrates a track record of driving operational excellence and delivering measurable results.
- Exceptional leadership and interpersonal skills, adept at skillfully communicating, inspiring, and
- Strong problem-solving abilities and decision-making skills, with a strategic mindset and a focus
- Advanced understanding of Project Management principles and the criticality of deadline
- Highly skilled in effectively managing a challenging workload, prioritizing tasks, and consistently
- Strong analytical and numerical skills, with the ability to analyze data, identify trends, and make
- Proficiency in warehouse management systems (WMS), inventory control software, and MS
- Familiarity with OSHA regulations and standards
Preferred Skills and Experience
- Experience working with UKG and Kronos.
- Experience in supervising temporary staff.
- Technical background.
Educational Requirements
- Bachelor's degree preferred in a related field or equivalent work experience.
Physical Demands and Working Conditions
- Warehouse environment.
- May require travel.
