Minimum Requirements
EDUCATION: Graduate of a college or university with a bachelor's degree.
EXPERIENCE, TRAINING, OR SKILLS: Two years of professional experience in planning, coordinating, or conducting staff development and training courses, personnel administration or teaching, or professional experience in providing or administering human services or governmental programs.
Substitute EDUCATION for EXPERIENCE: Graduate study in psychometrics, industrial relations, psychology, statistics, education, or a related field will substitute for the required experience on a year-for-year basis.
Substitute EXPERIENCE for EDUCATION: Additional experience in the above areas will substitute for the required education on the basis of one year of experience for two years of education. Current or prior military experience will substitute for the required college on a year-for-year basis.

Responsibilities And Duties Include But Not Limited To
- Works in collaboration with the Division of Guardianship management and staff and the University of Kentucky Human Development Institute to analyze the training needs of the division. Develops, conducts and evaluates the training programs to meet the needs of the division and performs other duties as assigned.
- Collaborates with the division management in analyzing the training needs of employees. Conducts surveys to assess the training needs of the employees. Makes recommendations on new or existing training courses.
- Conducts research, develop new training course content and update/revise existing courses as needed. Evaluates new training aids for inclusion into existing training programs.
- Collaborates with the designated curriculum developer with the University of Kentucky Human Development Institute (HDI) in developing and finalizing training content to be migrated into the HDI On-Line Learning Center.
- Provides technical assistance for employees related to the training platform and/or course content. Analyzes problems and recommends solutions.
- Conducts on-going training program analysis and evaluation and recommend needed solutions. Assists supervisors in tracking to ensure all employees complete required annual, in -service training courses. Tracks employees who do not achieve a passing score on graded course content, to ensure they repeat courses until successfully passed. Provides training reports to management as requested.
- Provides New Employee Orientation and track to ensure that all required pre-service training is completed. Personally conduct training courses virtually and/or in-person, as needed. Travel as needed to guardianship regional offices to provide training services.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Experience coordinating and delivering training or related.
- Intermediate computer skills. Ability to navigate virtual platforms.
- Experience developing written reports and analyzing data.
- Experience reviewing, interpreting, and incorporating statutes, regulations, and policy.
- Agency Partnerships-Experience in developing and maintaining partnerships outside CHFS.
