This position, in the Eastern Kentucky Veterans Center Nursing Services Department, in Perry County, KY, has an approved Locality Premium of $3.23 compliance with 101 KAR 2:034 Section 9(1).

Must maintain any required licensure(s), certification(s), or other credentials for the length of employment in this job classification. Responsibilities May Include, But Are Not Limited To
- Provide total personal care including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
- Assist residents with meals and proper hydration, including restorative dining
- Escort residents to medical appointments and activities
- Record vital signs such as temperature, pulse, respirations, and blood pressure
- Assist with lifting, repositioning, and transporting residents using assistive equipment
- Maintain clean and safe living environments and follow infection control protocols
- Observe and report any changes in resident condition to nursing staff
- Perform additional care tasks as directed
- Compassionate and resident-focused

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Team-oriented with a professional demeanor
- Adaptable to changing needs and environments
