Role Overview
The Wholesale Manager will lead and scale Comfy Cubs’ wholesale business across the US and international markets. This role is responsible for driving new account acquisition, expanding into chain retailers, building international distribution, and owning the wholesale sales function end to end. The position includes managing and building a high performing sales team, as well as booking, planning, and executing multiple wholesale and industry trade shows throughout the year. This is a full time, on site role based in Miami, FL, requiring close collaboration with internal teams and external partners, along with travel.
Key Responsibilities
- Sales Growth and Account Development
- Open and grow new mom and pop retail accounts
- Secure placement in regional and national chain stores
- Develop and expand international wholesale and distributor relationships
- Build long term partnerships with wholesale customers
Strategy and Leadership
- Create and execute wholesale sales strategies aligned with company growth goals
- Build, manage, and lead the wholesale sales team
- Partner closely with the Managing Partner to develop and execute pricing strategies
Operations and Execution
- Oversee wholesale product orders, forecasting, and account management
- Ensure smooth coordination with internal teams including operations, logistics, and marketing
- Maintain high levels of customer satisfaction through strong communication and reliable execution
Qualifications
- Strong Analytical and Business Planning skills to identify market opportunities and maximize sales growth.
- Experience developing and executing pricing strategies in collaboration with senior leadership, with a strong understanding of margins, wholesale economics, and retail pricing structures.
- Effective Communication skills to build and maintain relationships with wholesale partners and team members.
- Proven Customer Service expertise to ensure a positive experience for all partners and clients.
- Demonstrated success in Sales, with the ability to meet goals and drive revenue growth.
- Proficiency in developing and implementing strategic sales plans.
- Previous experience in wholesale management or a related field.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple accounts effectively.
- Proficiency in using CRM tools and sales tracking software is a plus.
- Self-starter with a strong work ethic and ability to work independently.
- Excellent time-management and organizational skills.
- Experience in the baby industry is considered a strong bonus.
