Job Summary:
The Front Desk Attendant is the face of the hotel, handling guest check-ins and check-outs, reservations, and providing outstanding customer service. The role also includes helping with online reviews, third-party platforms, and light support duties when needed.
Responsibilities:
Guest Services:
Greet guests warmly, check them in and out efficiently, answer questions, resolve issues professionally, and provide information about the property and local area to ensure a pleasant stay.Front Desk Operations:
Handle all front desk tasks, including managing reservations, cancellations, and payments
Respond to guest reviews on platforms like Google, TripAdvisor, and Booking.com
Monitor and update online travel agency (OTA) listings for accuracy (rates, availability, photos, etc.)
Manage daily reports, ensure accurate billing, and balance the cash drawer
Communicate room status and guest requests with housekeeping and maintenance
Maintain a clean, welcoming front desk and lobby area
General Assistance:
Occasionally assist with folding towels or small tasks when the team needs help—especially during busy periods.
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent
Previous hotel, front desk, or customer service experience preferred
Strong communication and basic computer skills
Comfortable using reservation systems, email, and review platforms
Friendly, dependable, and able to work under pressure
Flexible availability, including weekends and holidays
